Quality selection and friendly staff, happy to help but also happy to leave you alone. Shelf curation makes a lot of sense and the space, though technically pretty small, doesn't feel tight. For English books this is definitely the spot, especially for fiction (new and classic) and history.

Small but mighty book store stocking titles in English only. The children's section is tucked in a corner in the front of the shop. Not a big selection but they do try to keep it up to date. A great place to spend some time browsing! And inevitably buying too.

Exceptionally rude and extremely over priced. My partner accidentally had a book she was looking at slip out of her hands and although she apologised repeatedly and said she would buy it, the lady behind the counter proceeded to make her feel like a low life saying ''well yes you will be buying it now'' in a manor and tone that was not called for. Upon going to the counter to pay for said book, we learnt that the store had marked the book up by nearly double it's RRP. The woman then stared at us as if we were going to do some crime as we left the shop, making my partner even more upset. I will never be returning to this store again and will never recommend it to anyone.
